Some testimonials from happy visitors to The White Olive.
We have stayed at the White Olive twice and would have no hesitation recommending it to anyone looking to experience real Spain. The location is ideal, within easy reach of the attractions of the city of Ronda, but being on the outskirts offers stunning countryside views and a real sense of rustic charm. The rooms are clean, spacious and have many attractive, original features. The extensive grounds house a huge swimming pool, a hilly grove of olives and lawns close to the house, providing ample playing space for children, and within sight or sound in case you are enjoying a G&T in one of the hammocks by the pool. For us, one of the greatest attractions is the quirkiness of the place. You might be swimming up and down in the pool when suddenly a donkey ambles by as one of the resident family makes a half hearted bid for freedom. We’d also recommend the catering, an enormous paella or a tender lamb to share, is a relatively inexpensive extra, which offers a visual as well as a culinary experience. The owner, Will, has certainly found a rural idyll in Andalucia and it is a pleasure to share in his good fortune.

Whether you are a busy person looking for a battery recharge or simply looking for a great place to holiday in a sophisticated Spanish location then it is all in this place. Great house, location, restaurants and sights and a wondefully conducive place to have fun with familiy and friends. Going to use it as an office retreat next where we can strategise in the morning and have fun the rest of the day. Well, why not?
I love this finca…. every corner is enchanting. Each room has such great character, so much space to relax, amazing pool – great for training, and the outside bar area is easily the best part. The barman was fantastic too!
I stayed there and it is an amazing place – highly recommend it.
Thanks for a wonderful holiday in your charming home and in such an idyllic country location!
Whenever I want a moment of peace and tranquility in my busy and occasionally harassed day, I recall the morning I lay in the bubble-filled free standing bath, in front of the open french doors, looking out onto the patchworked fields in front of your villa.
It was hot and hazy outside and the white muslin, floor length curtain in front of the doors gently billowed in the light breeze. I could see a farm tractor in the distance and hear its gentle hum as it went about its work and I could hear our children’s chatter as they were playing outside. I knew then, that it didn’t get any better than this. This was…. BLISS….and a very happy memory was made.
Wish I was there…
